Raised by his UK-born mother and maternal grandparents in Canada before living in Los Angeles and ultimately settling in New York, Laurence’s background is as diverse as it is impressive. While working at Warner Bros. Canada, he founded his first production company while pursuing his undergraduate degree and acting successfully across North America and Europe. His on-screen credits include NBC’s 30 Rock, Degrassi: The Next Generation, and a lead role in the box-office-topping Saw 3D.

Laurence’s entrepreneurial spirit led him to the hospitality industry, where in 2015 he revitalized the legendary jazz venue Minton’s in Harlem and served as Director of The Cecil, which earned the Esquire Award for Best New Restaurant in America. In the non-profit realm, he has worked in youth philanthropy and criminal justice reform, serving as a trusted advisor to organizations like GOSO, YPI Canada, and YPI USA.

For nearly a decade, Laurence worked as a strategist and crisis manager in Washington D.C. and Bethesda, Maryland, consulting for clients in the finance, retail, and political sectors. These experiences laid the foundation for what would become his true calling: unlocking elite performance in others.

In 2023, Laurence founded Go Further Coaching, a global coaching company trusted by top-tier performers and powerhouse companies — including United Airlines. He is the coach organizations call when results matter. Laurence is not a motivational speaker; he’s a performance activator, known for bringing clarity, strategy, and energy to ambitious teams and leaders. His client roster spans from athletes and founders to military officials and C-suite executives.
